TCCW After School Club offers a safe, friendly and welcoming after school club provision for school children at Hillcrest Primary School in Totterdown from reception upwards.
The After School Club starts at 3.30pm when the school day ends. All the KS1 children booked into the setting from Hillcrest Primary School are met at their class door and KS2 children are met in the playground by TCCW staff and walked back to TCCW.
• We often go to the park on the way back from school (extreme weather permitting)
• After the park, we head to TCCW and when we are at the setting we refuel with a drink and snack. For example, toast, crumpets, wraps with spreads as well as fruit and vegetables and a drink. Drinks are available to children always.
• We then have free play. We have a variety of activities the children can choose from including; ball games to skipping, art & craft, dressing up, painting, sticking, playing with cars. The children always have the opportunity of choosing which activities they want to join in with. We also have a wide range of free play equipment including Lego, books, drawing, card and board games.
All sessions can be booked on iPAL where you will be able to check your bookings at any time. We require a notice period of four weeks when cancelling a place. Occasional or one-off places may also be available, please check iPAL or contact the Co-ordinator for details.

Cancellations for After School Club
If your child is ill or unable to attend a booked session, you must notify TCCW by 3pm - there is an answerphone for messages when staff are not in the building. Please note that you will be charged £5 per child (in addition to the session cost/s) if you do not let us know that your child will not be attending by 3pm. This is due to the other children and staff being severely inconvenienced and delayed leaving school whilst your child is searched for. The above also applies if you arrange for another parent/someone else to take your child from school; you MUST inform us, or we will NOT release your child to them. There are no refunds for cancelled sessions. If you no longer require a place for your child we require 4 weeks notice of cancellation, so that we can arrange to fill your child’s place. You are not required to give notice for children leaving at the end of Year 6.
Late Pick Up Charge
£5 per child after 6.05pm, £10 per child after 6.30pm. Late fees will be added to your termly bill.
Only parents/carers who are collecting children and official visitors will be able to gain access to the setting. All visitors will be asked to complete our Visitor’s Book.
