Due to Covid-19 we've had to make some changes of the ways we do things here at TCCW to ensure the safety for our children and staff. If you would like to find out more about this then please ask a member of staff or contact the Co-ordinator at firstname.lastname@example.org.
TCCW was established in 1979 by local parents and is still run today as a not for profit charity overseen by a voluntary management committee. TCCW is a much valued and loved part of the community and being run by parents for parents enables us to offer a unique childcare experience.
At TCCW we offer children a range of structured and free play opportunities. Children have access to toys, games, crafts, books, dens, dressing up. We also take children on trips to the local park and further afield during holiday club.
The After School Club starts at 3.30 pm (when the school day finishes) and ends at 6.00 pm. All the children booked into the setting are met in the Hillcrest Primary School playground by TCCW staff and walked back to TCCW. TCCW aims to deliver well structured enjoyable and stimulating weekly programmes on themes supporting the curriculum, weather permitting we always go to the local park before going back to the setting for a healthy snack.

We offer a large amount of space for children to engage in a diverse range of games and activities; we aim to have at least one day trip each week which can range from cinema visits to a sailing trip on the Matthew. We always spend time in the local parks and often arrange for sports coaches to come in and run sessions.
